In order for us to recognize you as a Patron and remove the ads from the app on your device, we must authenticate you using your Google account and a promo code (that we send to you through Patreon). As part of that process, you will provide us with your Google account's email address, which we will store in our database along with your promo code, in order to make sure that your Google account is recognized as a Patreon supporter's ad-free account.
The purpose of storing your Google account's email address is to be able to provide you with an ad-free version of the app even if you reset your phone, change or use an additional device, or even switch platforms.
The app does use third party services that may collect various information from your device.
We use Google Analytics which is an app analytics tool that helps us understand how users engage with the app. Like many services, Google Analytics uses identifiers to track user interactions with our app. This information is used to compile reports and to help us improve our app. The reports disclose app use trends without identifying individual visitors.
Opting out:You can opt out of Google Analytics without affecting how you use our app. To disable Google Analytics tracking within our app, go to Menu (left side drawer menu, accessed by tapping on the Hamburger icon in the top-left or swiping from the left) > Settings > Opt out of Google Analytics.
We use Google AdSense and Admob Advertising on our website and in our app. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our app. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on previous visits to our site and other sites on the Internet.
